Bob & Brad Weighted Heating Pad- Rectangle

I had a great heating pad for many, many years but it eventually needed to be replaced. I tried several but none of the new pads measured up. They seemed cheaper and never got hot enough for me. This one seems to be a higher quality and I really like that it's weighted. The heat seems a little variable in that most of the time, it gets just hot enough on high, but occasionally it gets too hot and I have to turn it down a level. Still, would rather have it too hot than never get hot enough.

Using this to mitigate pain from sciatica and a herniated disc and it is so soothing. The belt allows it to be shaped around your leg or your back - whatever you’re working on - and holds it in place like a warm gentle hug. there’s something different about the heat on this one from the old-fashioned heating pad that I had before this. It’s easier on the skin. Skin doesn’t feel overheated or irritated after use. It gets hot enough for me and I’m not bringing it up very much. I like the settings on the controller - very intuitive to use - and the auto shut off is great. No worries about falling asleep with it on because it will shut itself off. So far so good.

The ONLY downside to this heating pad is that it's not BIGGER, that's a personal preference thing though, not a problem. Soon as I plugged it in, even my children conveniently make their ways over to it. The material is supper soft and comfortable. The heat even on the highest setting won't burn, but is soothing. They did a great job with this one.

I'm a long time fan of Bob and Brad, as their video's have been so helpful. Their products are all very well thought out and absolute top quality! This weighted heating pad is certainly no exception. It has a very comfortable weight to it and heats up nicely. It has a nice lengthy power cord for convenience just about anywhere, and the infrared penetrates deeper than standard heating pads. I always look forward to new products from them because I know they always improve on whatever else may be out there.

I was surprised this wasn't heavier, as I've used weighted blankets before, but the weight is really perfect for a heating pad. I haven't used FIR technology in a heating pad either, but reading up on it I'm happy to have this pad in my collection, and it has been a wonderful experience for me. The heating part heats up slowly but soon becomes a very comfortable warmth that can be adjusted by the hand held control. One side of the pad heats up, and the other stays relatively cool which is kind of fun. The cord is long which is a nice touch. I like the idea of the straps, but it isn't something you could walk around in. However, it is so soothing and nice, you won't want to walk around! There's a timer on the pad so you don't have to keep track of how long you've used it. I really love this heating pad and I'm thrilled with this order.

Soft and well stitched heating pad. The ceramic beads can be felt in most of the inner pockets, but there are not enough beads to give the pad substantial weight. The pad is quite light compared to my other weighted pads. The heat is controlled by the corded remote. The highest heat setting of 6 gets really warm and the pad connector on the body side fabric become too hot against bare skin. I'm not sold on the far infrared heat therapy since the infrared is concealed though. Overall, the warmth provided by the heating pad is nice and seems to heat evenly throughout the pad.
